Nice price and it does work with Linux with some trickery. First, you need to have access to a windows machine. After installing updates on windows, it will place a file called rtl8761b_mp_chip_bt40_fw_asic_rom_patch_new in C:\Windows. Take that file and copy it to /lib/firmware/rtl_bt/rtl8761bu_fw.bin on your Linux box. You will be overwriting an existing file, so make a backup just in case.Check: dmesg | grep BluetoothBluetooth: hci1: RTL: loading rtl_bt/rtl8761bu_fw.binBluetooth: hci1: RTL: loading rtl_bt/rtl8761bu_config.binThen: hciconfig -a should return results that it's UP and RUNNINGThen to check version: inxi -EBluetooth: Device-1: Realtek Bluetooth 5.4 Radio type: USB driver: btusbIt's pretty simple and if you run a windows virtual machine on your linux install, you can passthru the USB device and it'll work there too.
