The headphones are very comfortable and look great. The build quality is very nice as well. 4 or 5 stars for that...However, when wired to my computer there is no voice indication of what mode you are in. You have to just guess. Also, there seem to be two default modes when wired. If you just plug them in they are really loud and bassy and somewhat muffled. It sounds horrible. But as soon as you turn on ANC, or Ambient, or the other Default with the function button they lose about half of their volume. The EQ also changes. They become less bassy, which was nice. This was ok on my computer, but when using the wire on my phone I had to turn it all the way up and it was still not loud enough. So if you are getting these to use wired, then I would strongly discourage it.Bluetooth, on the other hand, was easy to set up and seemed to work fine. These things sounded great on my phone. Volume was good, sound was EQed nice. It was a very pleasant experience. Volume adjustment though through my phone was a bit stepped and not smooth. Also, there is a voice indicator of what mode you are in when you are using Bluetooth. That would have been nice when using the wire. There was one issue that I'm not sure was me or if the headphones are defective or not, but several times they just stopped working using the cable. No audio was coming through at all. I never exactly figured out why. I pushed the Control button in for a few seconds and that seemed to fix it, but not sure why they turned off to begin with. The battery was mostly full, so wasn't that. Wasn't the auto pause feature either, cause they were just sitting on my head. The ANC is acceptable, I think. Voices sounded canned, but it did get rid of low frequency noises, similar to my Sony 710ns. Although I think the ANC on the Sonys was better. The Ambient was ok as well, nothing special.I might would keep these if it wasn't for the poor volume when using it wired. If you are just wanting to use them for Bluetooth, then I can recommend them, but if you ever think you will need to use wired, then don't get these...Update: I returned these and got a full refund from Amazon. However, I contacted Urbanista and asked them if the lower volume issue when using wired was normal and they said it wasn't. They also said that using a different charging cable could fix something like this. I thought that was an odd solution to suggest, but maybe they are right. I've since grabbed the JBL CLub 950nc headphones and am much happier, so far...Great fit and sound. Noise canceling is good to. Highly recommendI will admit, I definitely went with these for the aesthetic, but if I’m being honest, I would have liked to think that a pair of headphones that are designed for noise cancelling would have prioritized comfort and full ear coverage fit, which both leave something to be desired. While I can wear these quite frequently, they are not the lightest headphones and have some weight to them, which doesn’t bother me too much, but sustained wear for more than a few hours makes my head hurt behind my ears. The cushion on the ear cups is a little too firm, while the ear cup itself is not very deep. I have pretty tiny outer ears and these fit over them just barely well enough to be comfortable, but still leave the edges of my ears feeling sore after a while. I can’t imagine how uncomfortable they might be to average sized ears.Moving on to the noise cancelling, it is decent, but the firmness of the cushions and shallowness of the ear cup makes secure coverage very difficult to achieve. Turning my head about one way or another is enough to create pockets that easily let external sounds in. I also find that I can only get the best coverage if I lean the band of the headphones further back on my head, but to a point wear they would very easily fall off while walking or tilting my head back even slightly. To say something more positive, I do like the auto pause feature when taking of the headphones or lifting the right cup off, although sometimes it’s a little dodgy. All in all, they are decent headphones. They serve the purpose I bought them for well enough, which was to have a way to keep listening to music or videos more clearly while filtering out the harsh noise of industrial blow dryers in the dog wash at my workplace, which have no sound buffer in the back room of the building where I do most of my work. I take them off and use a portable stereo when the dryers are off. They’re very nice looking if you’re going for style on a budget, beautiful deep teal color, exactly what I was looking for, and they’re sturdy! The adjustable band inside the cushion is metal so they won’t break at the sides like plastic ones do, but they are not great for sustained wear and they are less than ideal for noise cancelling.Let’s start from the very beginning, unpacked from the outer carton to reveal what can I only say is a lovely premium solid cardboard boxing.Great protection solid construction and if I’m not mistaken totally environmentally friendly.Product looks lovely in the box and the hard case is just like the one you get with Bose QC35.Cables all look nice and gold tipped. USB C charging which is a bonus for me as virtually all my Apple products are now USB C.Everything fits in the hard carry case and is well protected. I even gave the case a little crush test with the headphones in under my own are strength and I’m a big chap, they held up great.Pairing is an absolute piece of cake simple and very easy. Instruction booklet very easy to understand and in a various number of languages. Even connects to my Sony LCD TV with a cheap Bluetooth adaptor plugged in to the USB my AKG will not do that at all.Now for the juicy bits:Sound quality Wow for a pair of headphones that costs £129 stunning value for money.Let me say I compared these with my AKG N60nc and in my opinion they sound much better clearer and a lot more crisper in the middle to high range too on the tracks i have listened too.Bass on them is deep but not too punchy like what the AKG are, it’s more of a deeper sound from the Urbanista more than like a punch to the ear drum from the AKG. Far better controlled and distributed to the music. Now I listened to an array of songs on what I think put them too a great test. The songs will be listed below after the review.Noise cancellation was great just like AKG and Bose. They all do the same thing in my opinion and music does sound a lot better with Noise cancellation on I love it. All those back ground sounds all virtually gone. I could sleep in them. Brilliant on a plane.Ambient mode: Honestly no idea what this mode is for I cant quite get my head around it to be fair. I’m still going to try and see what it does but if i have read the instructions correctly it should pickup the surroundings sounds around you. If this is the case then why not just have NC off? Food for thought Urbanista?Controls not the easiest to use on the side of the headphones. The NC button really easy to use and you can locate it really easy when the headphones are on. However the power on, volume up/down and track skip it’s like throwing a dart in a dark room. I am having difficulty locating them when lying down on the sofa or sitting up with the light on. Perhaps Urbanista you should have a raised edge on each end of the vol up/track Skip button and vol down/track Skip buttons this way you could tell when you are at least by a button in stead of skipping over it with you finger and constantly pressing the power button to adjust volumes. (This being said you can control all of this on your phone but not the TV)Comfort wise they have to be the most comfortable pair of headphones I’ve slung on my head. I don’t even need to adjust them they fit perfect for my 59cm head. The ear cushions on the headphones all built extremely well. Much better than the Akg I have which to be fair I’m always thinking one day the headphone bit is just going to snap off those. All in all a great set of headphones for the money. Will I be sending them back? Hell no.Would I wear walking the dog or down the street? NoHowever they will come around the globe with me on my travels and also I am now using them all the time in my house and it’s made my PUMP and AKG headphones redundant.I would even go and put my neck out and say they sound just as good has a pair of QC35 too.Super value for money from a up and coming great company.Track listings:Eminem - HigherPa Salieu - Block BoyCJ - WhooptyJ Hus - ClartinNext - WifeyKeyshia Cole - let it goJa Rule - Thug LovinAngie Stone - Wish I didn’t miss youSonique - It feels so goodMark Knight - TonightDuke Dumont - Therapy (Franky Wah)Sub Focus - Turn back timeDuke Dumont - The GiverShen Yun Symphony Orchestra - Elegance of Qing DynastyShen Yun Symphony Orchestra - Restaurant CheerNow I’ve listened to quite a few more tracks also but all these sounded outstanding.I am using an iPhone X and made sure my EQ is off you don’t need any adjustments but this is only in my opinion. That’s it everyone I’m now enjoying watching Alien Resident on TV whilst chilling in my Urbanista Miami.Enjoy!!!!So I'm autistic and really been looking for a nice pait of headphones to use during my day. It took me a long time to figure out how to get it working but thankfully it is all working great. Sound is good and really soft to the touch. The case is super nice and great quality.Delivery was a little longer than most packages I've had but was still alright. Only issue I'm still having is my music or video no matter what app or site I'm using keeps randomly pausing. I've had a go at fixing it but it doesn't seem to have a reason or a pattern as its totaly random. I still do love them a lotAfter trying to turn these headphones on for a few minutes, I thought I hadn't given them chance to charge. After leaving them for an extended period on charge (the charging LED lit up) I again tried to use the control button to turn them on.Nothing happened. I tried holding it for 1 second, 3 seconds, 10 seconds, etc etc.I plugged in my aux headphones (via Type C adapter) and it sparked the headphones to life, however my phone seemed to think they were connected via Bluetooth. None of the controls worked however, and I bought these headphones to be wireless, as I was sick of having to rely on dodgy Type C adapters.Needless to say I think I received a pair with either a dead battery or dead hardware internally. I am now going through the returns process, and so have to decide (again) between forking out money for new headphones, or getting another likely to break Type C adapter.I don't normally leave a 1 star review, but someone less technically adept could have been fussing with a pair of these for hours on end (I spent a fair bit of time myself) and it will be causing me a lot of needless headache now having to return them.If you buy them note that you run the chance of receiving a totally dud pair, whereby you will need to return them and spend potentially more time in an audioless void. The sound quality seemed ok when played via AUX, but in all honesty I don't feel comfortable giving any in depth review of the sound or feel because they are now sat in the box again after being out for all of 40 minutes. The headphones were purchased with great respect. However, these turned out to be poor in sound performance. Nosie cancellation is not par and there is a constant puff air blowing in the right ear which even after adjusting the EQ did not mitigate, hence returned. Could be significantly improved for the high price tag and brand.I wanted some headphones: cheaper than the n1 from the big brand but better than a $50 one I needed to replace. Results, the Miami from Urbanista let me disappointed. I found it heavier and less comfortable (head was a bit sore after 1hour) than the $50 one. Annoying that when you place it back in its case you need to reduce to maximum the overears pads length: you lose each time your personal head "adjustment"...Positive points: very good battery, does the job for the sound, the colour (dark green) is outstanding. So the price in the middle didn't give satisfaction: better not save your money and buy the n1 or go for a decent cheap headphone.
