I've purchased a couple LG Bluetooth speakers and both had left speaker failure. That didn't happen with the ones I replaced the LG withThe mic on these is horrible. My wife and I both have the hbs910 and have had them for a few years. In fact when my wife’s first pair broke she got another pair because she loved them so much. She uses hers daily. So with that model no longer available I bought this new pair for an employee. He drives for me and I need to talk to him often. I can barely hear him when there is any background noise. These are basically useless for my purpose. I never had this problem with the 910 model.Useless. The first one died within the 30 day return period and was replaced. The second one lasted 40 days and couldn't be returned, so I gave up and bought a BosrWorks great!I sent my LG Tone's and proof of purchase into the repair because the retracting device on the left side stopped working. It was returned to me without repair because they saw a microscopic crack in the side of the earpiece. The earpiece that you stick in your ear has a tiny crack that has nothing to do with the retraction device. I am 100% disappointed with this response. I didn't do anything to cause this device to fail and you're not going to repair it because the earpiece has a crack? That's like Ford telling you they wont fix your engine because you have a scratch in the bumper. Update: LG responded to an email I sent them... Really disappointing but not unexpected.In their email they say my purchase was outside the 12 month warranty period but the receipt I sent them clearly shows I bought it on April 22nd of this year.Then they tell me my phone had outside damage so they wont stand behind it. Too bad I sent them a headset and not a phone. That's what happens when you're lazy and cut/paste but don't read your email before hitting 'send'.And lastly, the earbud had a tiny crack, not the internal retraction device.Buyers beware!! LG will do the absolute minimum to stand behind their products and are not to be trusted.Merry Christmas.
