I purchased this to install under my digital piano as a hook for my headphones and to power devices like an iPad or to charge my phone. The device itself is a good size. The pictures don't show the plug, which is flat at 45 angle which is arguably good but it also limits you in where you can plug it in. The cable is about 6 feet.Now the bad: obviously the manufacturing totally lacks any form of reasonable quality control. As soon as I plugged into the wall, it tripped my breaker. I tried another outlet, tripped that one too. The spark inside the outlet fused the plug into the outlet, I had to pry it out with a screwdriver.Turns out it had a short it in on the inside of the unit. When they stripped the cable, they cut through the inner conductors sheath and there was a short. Because I wanted this working, I took the unit apart, cut the damaged portion of the wire, stripped and re-soldered. Although the extension is now 6" shorter, it works.If not for that, I'd give it 5 stars, because this is a big deal. Best case, this kind of issue trips your breaker, worse caser, it could be a fire hazard.
