Let me say its rare for me to write reviews, usually im just too lazy. With that said, I felt compelled to write a quick review of the i10's bluetooth Stereo Headset with reference to the matching i10 bluetooth transmitter. First, I just want to say this review is 4.5 stars, just Amazon doesn't allow for half stars. Let me start with the meat and potatoes, the headset is great, I have the matching i10 bluetooth transmitter (also bought here on Amazon)and was wondering why nobody reviewed the headset. I took a chance and bought the bluetooth headset and it does what I want. I have a nano 6 and was tired of lifting weights or running and having the ear bud cord bouncing all over the place or getting caught on a machine at the gym, etc, you get the picture. The i10s provide good sound for a bluetooth headset, Kokkia makes the headset customizable by providing 2 other sizes of earplugs, and ear hooks, and ear loops. If you cant stand either of them, they can all be taken off. Currently, when I lift I prefer just the earbuds without accessories. When I run, the ear loops provide a bit more stability. The headset has a multibutton switch which you use to turn it on and pair with a bluetooth transmitter, or it pairs nicely with ipod touch 4g, which has built in blu tooth. There are three buttons on the right side of the headset, the aforementioned MFB button can pause music with one press, and a volume up and down as well. You can skip to the next track by holding the vol + button down and play previous by hitting vol -. Why am I not giving this product 5 stars you may wonder? Quite frankly, the instructions to pairing could be a little clearer, it took me quite some time to pair the headset with the matching Kokkia transmitter attached to my nano 6. The instructions should list to hold the mfb button down for a count of 3-4 seconds in addition to waiting for the led light to turn blue and red. My second gripe is nitpicking, the headset cord is really short, it kind of feels like i hits you in the chin when you run, it needs to be about 2 inches longer. I simply tuck it into my shirt and train. Hopefully, the headset doesnt short out if I get a little sweaty by doing it this way. The final gripe applies to all bluetooth accessories really, they drain batteries. The Kokkia transmitter drains the juice out of my nano, but thats because the nano has such a small battery to begin with. I still can get about 2-3 hours with the i10 transmitter plugged in. The headset lasts only around 1.5-2 hours but does come with a micro to usb charger, which is nice. Let me state, I was actually frustrated to the point of returning the item to Amazon due to pairing problems. I emailed Kokkia and this is why I give the headset and transmitter 4.5 stars--Kokkia responded immediately with professionalism, courtesy, and detailed instructions with diagrams for pairing. I emailed Kokkia couple more times and received a quick response, but most important was their customer service. This tells buyers they stand behind their product and value your business. So if what you need is a bluetooth transmitter, get the i10, read other reviews, it works. Also, if you are in need of a bluetooth headset, the matching i10 works great, and it sounds great with good range.I just wanted to add I am not affiliated with Kokkia in any way nor was I compensated for this review. This is a great headset that just might be what you have been looking for. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Kokkia again.
