I've had my Sony headphones for 3 years now and they've served me well. Recently I've been using them a lot more and the pleather of the cups had started to wear down and peel off in places. I got these because they fit my model and are roughly the same colour as the originals. They are quite tricky to fit and they come with a pokey tool to get the edge tucked under the flange where it belongs. What you really need is three hands to keep one part in place while you tuck the next part under, but that is not really an option is it. What I did was wrap my left hand around the back of the headphone cup and used it to hold in place the progress I'd made with slotting the replacement pad in. Starting at the base, I'd line up the pad with the gap and work it in, then immediately hold that progress with my left hand, work a bit more into line with my right, hold with left. Repeat ad nauseam. It's not impossible, obviously, it just requires a bit of patience and a little time set aside. I was trying to do it while baking bread, knowing at any second my timer was about to go off and the pressure was stressing me out. Still I didn't lose my temper which I am occasionally wont to do, and the whole process went without a hitch, all apart from the littler pokey dabber tool, that went straight in the bin, unused.
