My thoughts so far:Upon receiving my headphones earlier this week, I immediately went to test them on the ps4. The sound is very good. Blocked out those that were sitting around me. Please note, this is with the in-line amp.Fit:At first, putting it on felt awkward. It felt like the headphones were sitting on the back part of my head and would fall off at any time, but I got used to it. They never fell off. And now I enjoy how they fit. They're comfortable. I haven't worn them for hours at a time yet, because I usually get up and get something to drink, or some reason or the other, so I can't tell you if it'd be a problem, but so far I haven't had any moments of discomfort. The headband feels like it's a little too long, so I won't be extending it out anytime, but the cups stay over the ears well enough that they really don't fall off. My friend has a slightly bigger head than I do, and had to extend it out, and he had no complaints about how they felt. I like the cushiony feel.Sound:The headphones aren't as good without the amp, and I probably wouldn't brag about them to anyone until I was using it on the ps4, instead of my PC. They're really loud, and I think that's where my problem (see below) stems from. I use additional software with it now so that I can enjoy it on my PC. Not saying that you can't without it. This was just my personal choice. As for on the PS4, amazing! I really love how they sound. But again, that's with the amp. Life without the amp, not as great, but not terrible. Still sounds good, but the static...Wire:The wire is very long for me, but I don't have a huge living room. I can choose to sit just about anywhere and the cable reaches me, but at some point, I worry someone will try to crawl over, trip and end up breaking something. So yeah, it might not be long enough, if you plan on using the amp. If you're like me and you sit close to the TV, then heck (this is not advised btw!). Otherwise, just using the headset cable by itself works nicely too. Not as great, but still pretty decent. The first wire is very short. Definitely for having the controller right in your hands. If you move a lot, it works out. It has a decent length considering it comes with more.Amp:The in-line amp, at first touch, I felt like I was going to break it. It hasn't broken though. As portrayed, it has bass, treble, and mic mute and unmute. I really hate hearing myself, so in the silence, I usually just mute it. When I was trying to unplug the headphones for the first time, I swear everything was gonna break off. I freaked out. The 3.5 really gets deep into the in-line amp and it's hard to take out unless you pull on the cable. That's going to be troublesome at some point I bet. I managed to haul it out twice already, but I worry I may not be so lucky every time. Maybe I'm wrong.Problem:So far I've mostly been using it on my PC, and I noticed there's a static every time something abruptly happens, like an error message for windows will come in with the static, and it'll stay for a while then go. Last night it got really bad that I had to lower the volume for everything. Was worried I already broke something but I remember someone else complained about the same. All in all, aside from the static, and the getting used to it factor, I enjoy these headphones. I don't think my other choice would've been as pleasant, but who knows. Maybe you see something with higher ratings and better reviews. I'll stick to this one. In it for the long haul ;) Keep you updated if anything else happens.
