I have an acoustic neuroma that has left me not only hearing impaired on my righ ear, but casuses rather severe tinnitus. For this reason most, if not all, regular headphones just don't work for me and I've owned the higher end Aeropex Aftershockz (blue ones in the pictures) for regular use pretty much since they came out.I decided to start swimming again to get a little bit back in better shape, and my Aftershockz are sadly not waterproof, so I decided to jump on this device without many expectations. So far, I've been proved wrong, While at first I did find the sound not to be quite as good as that of the higher end headset, I realized as soon as I got into the pool why. The sound is crystal clear underwater, so much that I found myself delaying coming out for air whenever a song I particularly liked was playing. It did take a couple of swims getting used to them, since they tended to move right over my earplugs whenever I moved too vigorously, but that was it. Construction also seems similar to the Aftershockz headset, and moving a bunch of MP3s in was as simple as connecting them to the PC with the included USB cable and copying the files to the root of the "P8" drive.Battery life as not an issue during any of my 3 hour gym/pool sessions, but I will admit I didn't stress it past charging the headset every other day.Over phone calls, noise cancellation was pretty good, and the fact that my ears were uncovered allowed me to have a better sense of my surroundings, but the headset will sound noticeably clearer if you wear earplugs. If there's one thing that really need to be improved is the documentation.I'm somewhat used to these 3rd party devices having brief or incomplete manuals, and this was the case here. You turn on the headset by long pressing the power button, and it starts in bluetooth mode (which allows you to use it with your phone/console/tv/etc), but it's nowhere stated in the manual that you then need a quick double press to go into MP3 player mode. And there's still some functions (such as muting/unmuting) which I'm still not sure how to do.Ultimately, the device has exceeded my expectations for the price, and I would wholeheartedly recomend it to anyone who wants some music in the pool, or doesn't want to wear a conventional headset for some reason.Okay, so I always thought bone conduction headphones would be kinda weird, like the sub-voc microphones that you'd stick on your throat. No. It's literally just like regular headphones, only they're some sort of soft and comfortable foam that rests just ahead of your ears. It's not sticky, or uncomfortable, or weird, and the sound quality was just fine. As good as any other headphones I've owned. But here's the thing, and the big selling point for me. They don't block my ears so I can still hear everything when out on the mountain bike. Car horns, people, other people on bikes, still perfectly clear. And when biking around in my city where the drivers are notoriously AWFUL, that could very well save my life. Then add to that that this has rear facing lights I can set up, and a built in MP3 player so I don't even have to have my phone with me, and these things are worth every penny.Buenas noches!!Los audífonos apenas tienen un mes y ya se rompieron… no puedo creerlo!!!So far I’ve been very happy with these! It s so good .I actually love it so much.I wasn T expecting a so Good product but it is so so awesome.specifically as compare to its cost it s really really nice it has very good puality and the sound effects are wow.I just love it.Edit: Everything I wrote below still applies, but my headset won't recharge. I tried completely discharging it in order to try to recalibrate the battery and it charged a little, but it charges just enough to turn on, connect to bluetooth and then it informs me there's only 10% battery left then turns itself off. I will be returning the product and will rewrite my review (and re-rate it) based on if my next headset will charge or not. Otherwise this was a 5/5 product, so hopefully I just got a bad one and my next one works properly.Original Review:So, I definitely had my hesitations with buying this product. I wanted it all and I felt that if I didn't have to compromise on features that the price tag was very. . . reasonable. There are also a few products out there that have the same headset but a different company name, which threw a wrench into it, making me wonder which to buy and if any of them are legit (I've been burned before). Since this product has the ability to buy a 3 year protection plan and was shipped by Amazon I decided to take a chance and return them if they weren't quite as advertised. To my, very happy surprise, this headset actually exceeded my expectations. So far, I have swam in and showered with it (the reviewers that say these sound better in the water are legit, but what I felt they left out was that they sound perfectly clear outside of it as well) and they're still functioning. I have used it for phone calls and it works very well. My Mom didn't notice I was using different headphones than normal when I called and when I listened to the quality myself I felt it was very clear (if not a little flat) and by far not bad for the price. The keys all work exactly as the guide says and when I tested the bluetooth range I was able to walk about 40 to 50 feet before it cut in and out.The sound quality is very good, in my opinion, but I have not tired very many other products to compare them with. If you turn them too loud you will get a distinct haptic pop against your skin in time with bass, which is honestly kinda really cool in my opinion. If you like listening to loud music but you don't want that effect you may want to avoid bone conduction headphones or maybe try another brand. Also, if you listen too loudly other people will clearly hear your music, but I felt like I didn't have to turn it up very high in order to enjoy the music in public. I also loaded some podcasts onto the MP3 player portion of the device and everything worked very well there, even in a loud public pool. The data transfer rate was approx. 700 kbps, if that matters to anyone, but I feel like that's a fine compromise for not having a port that could get filled with water. The instructions say that you get about 6 hours of play at 80% volume. I haven't pushed them far enough to know if that's a realistic estimate or not. I will update this review if I feel like the battery life could be better.Love these headphones. I like being able to put them on my neck when exercising and running. I can still hear my music but have no fear of losing them. The noice cancellation is good and the sound quality even better. The battery life far surpasses my expectations. Great value.Bought this for use during cycling and it works very well. Easy to connect with Bluetooth. Man verliert also weder die Sicherheit z.
