Used with Win 10 laptop. No games. So far I've used it to create videos. It definitely has plenty of sound. The inline scroll wheel puts the sound WELL over any of my earbuds ever could (with sys sound set to a default of100). Some exterior sound gets in, but not much, at lesser volume levels on the wheel. Mic is clear. I like how I can remove it when just in listening mode. The pads do get warm. I had to remove them more often at the beginning than I do now to cool my ears down. I sweat easily to begin with so this was not so much an issue as practically all were going to cause that. The memory foam pads are more gentle on my head than others have been in the past. They do cause some sort of pressure sensitive issue at my jaw joints. It's not bad; I've learned what position to adjust them to that helps the most. Almost can't tell it anymore. The cable is annoying, but I work with it (had to have cabled ones due to work requirements, for which they were originally purchased); Only wish it had a clip - pref a clamp for shirt sleeve or lapel- of some sort to help keep it out of the way. Overall, they're keepers. For output, the sound is pretty decent and does have some noise cancellation which is good for blocking out some distractions. I took away point because I get static from the microphone sometimes and people can't hear me or says its really low unless I rest it right on my lips,My intention was to get a good headset forMicrosoft Teams calls. My first meeting i got bad feedback since my voice was not clear and volume kind of fluctuated. The headset is very confy and the sound is great, but I have to return them due to the poor quality of the mic for Teams calls. It took "upgrading" to these headphones to realize how good I had it with the set of Sades budget USB headphones I've been using for the last 6 years. These are good headphones from every aspect except sound profile, which is a deal breaker for me.Pros:- They include a faux leather case with draw strings for storage, which is a really nice touch and I didn't expect at this price point.- Installation was (as expected) a breeze, plug in and windows recognizes them.- Putting them on, I was off to a good start, I have a very large head and I had to completely extend them to get them to fit, but they did fit. For most people they'll fit fine, and the fitment over my ears was great, they're very comfortable.- Noise cancelling is solid if not exceptional, I can't hear much of anything with them on, even with no sound coming out. A major downside of the Sades these replaced was the sound bleeding. I could hear them almost as well around my neck as I could with them on my ears. These are much better, very little sound bleed, and decent noise cancelling. The box advertises a noise cancelling chip, but I believe that's more for the microphone than the headphones themselves. I think what I'm experiencing as noise cancelling is actually just good sound insulation.- Form factor is great, the main reason I changed from my Sades headphones is they didn't fit well over my VR headset. These fit perfectly, so if that's something you're considering, I have a Samsung Odyssey+ and removed the built in speakers (they're a joke), and these fit over that headset just fine.Cons:- The sound profile. First thing I did was fire up Spotify and see how they sound with some music. The entire sound profile was designed to maximize bass. The problem is, while the bass is good, it muddies the rest of the range. If you don't care at all about audio quality, they might be passable, but these are really bad compared to my old Sades I paid $25 for about 6 years ago. I expected at least that level of sound quality, but it's nowhere near it.- The sound profile. It bears repeating, it's just terrible. Every song sounds muffled, even voices in Youtube videos sound like someone is talking through a closed door. Heck even bass-heavy EDM tracks aren't reproduced nearly accurately enough, and that seems to be a slow pitch across the plate that this profile should knock out of the park. For gaming, they're fine, and this profile may even be a feature if that's the majority of what you're doing, explosions sound great and they can be immersive, right up until someone starts talking.I wanted to like them. They fit everything I wanted them to be until I started playing music. I even listened to music through them for a good 30 minutes or so trying to think "Could I get used to this? Maybe they're not so bad..." but they are, and they're going back. I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I do appreciate decent sound quality. If you think you might fall in this boat, I'd suggest trying a different set.The headset is very comfy to have on for hours and the sound is better the most other headphones but of course, like you've probably read in some of the other reviews, the microphone quality is lacking. I use Discord a lot and people say I sound muffled or it sounds like I'm using a xbox 360 headset which is pretty dated. I also have an issue where everytime I boot my pc my headphones aren't connected which could be a problem on my end, I have an semi-dated pc but its a problem nonetheless. Great product for the price, but it could use some fine tuning.Very comfortable and the noise cancelling is better than what I thought it would be. And I would recommend to buy. Mic piece is good too. Seems to have good audio.I'm not sure it's truly "sound cancelling" but it covers the ears completely, which serves the same function. Great sound reproduction, treble & bass. I have a separate fancy microphone I use for my zoom meetings, so I chose not to connect the built-in one that came with the headphones.Highly recommended.PerfectMy old Turtle Beach Z60 snapped, which considering I'm now working from home and need a headset for online meetings meant I didn't have the luxury of taking my time to try and find a great replacement, I needed something tomorrow, cheap, that I could use for gaming as well. The EKSA e900 Plus, fit the bill so I ordered it not expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is great, the 7.1 virtualization works really well. It's comfortable enough to wear all day with no issues (and over glasses, it doesn't press on them at all), I've had almost no issues with the mic, and it's completely plug and play, in fact , I think I prefer this headset to my old one in almost every area..The caveat, there are just a few issues to be aware of, that may or may not impact you. I said almost no issues with the mic, I've had one colleague say that I'm a bit quieter now, just one, but something to be aware of, I have the mic volume at 100%. The inline control is tiny, too close to the headset and almost impossible to see when wearing it, and if you want to see what the symbols on the mute button are, you'll need a magnifying glass, not a massive issue, but one to be aware of, and finally (and this is why I only gave it 4 stars), the volume. The headset has 2 volumes, off or on, on is fine, it's perfectly comfortable, it sounds good, it won't be damaging your hearing, but it just is not adjustable. The inline volume control takes the volume from nothing to the one level and back again, and the PC master volume does the same, it's a bit odd, I'm not sure why the volume controls don't work, it would be nice to have some control, but it's fine as is.All in all, if you want a budget headset for working from home AND gaming, you could do a lot worse than this one. Here we go, 1 week old, so far have been excellent, had problems with volume and noise on my old ones, on the old ones others were saying extremely hard to hear me, although volume up at maximum, causing unwanted noise to creep in. On getting these EKSA E900 Plus headphones, had to reduce my volume settings and external noise dropped by quite a bit. I have an archway between the two rooms, so a vast improvement. The actual fit of headphones also better for my big head. Need the maximum size for my bike helmet, and that is even tight, so these extend quite a bit and are nice and comfortable upon my head so far. The EKSA E900 Plus, seem well made, big plus is the removable microphone. Yes I would recommend them plus would purchase them again.Due to covid we are having to home work doing contact centre work so need to wear a headset at least 8hrs a day. Had these now for a couple of months and they are perfect. Very comfortable, sound quality is fab and everyone can here us clearly.I cannot comment for gaming or listening to music as not using them for that .. but for a really.. really.. comfortable headset to talk/video call these are perfect.Update: had issues with people saying they could not hear me. Turned out is was due to the mic on my laptop being activated rather than the headset. Disabled mic on laptop and all good again. This may be the problem others have been having??. Anyway.. all good now and still loving this headset. My previous USB headset was beginning to fail, so I picked up this one, but unfortunately the microphone quality wasn't what I had hoped, as my voice sounded very muffled in comparison to the previous headset and overall bad for something that's £35-40. I'll give it some merit for its light weight and speaker quality, but you're better off with something else.14TH APRIL UPDATE: Following the refund and initial review, EKSA has sent me a free replacement headset. Unfortunately, the muffled microphone issues I had with the headset were not any better. I will give an extra star for the customer service, but overall I'm still not happy with the product. So I bought this after reading some great reviews and watching videos on it. When it works, it is outstanding for the price. My issue with it is, its not always picked up. As time has gone on, I have to plug it in, unplug, plug it in, change USB inputs, swap it about and my PC doesn't pick it up for ages. I've tried it now on 4 desktops and 3 different laptops and it's always the same. This is the problem with plug and play USB devices. If there was a separate drive download for this device to stop that, this headset would get top marks. Also, the mic isn't great quality, but with some tweeks in OBS, it's fine
