What can I say it worksI made the mistake others here did, I didn't realize the measurement of the cord was done with it uncoiled. Coiled length is just over 2 feet really. I wanted a longer cord than this and was pretty disappointed. However, it appears that is at least the way manufacturers measure them now (if not always).I thought for sure as a kid it was done with the coiled length, but that might have been nothing else than it being very long (25 or 50ft maybe) and not being old enough to realize how long that would be. I do think the way of measurement should be changed or clarified, but that seems to be a problem with all, and not just this manufacturer or seller. But, it would probably save people some aggravation if the page here mentioned how it is measured since I am not the only one who made this mistake. As far as the cord, I have barely used it, but it seems fine so far. I have no idea how long it will last, but getting 2 so cheaply makes them essentially throw away items and I will just have the second one as back up. I will just order another if for some reason the first fails quickly and I have to use the second. I might get another brand if this happens quickly, but if they last a good long time would probably just get another of these.Item just as shown, pretty straight forward. Quality seem good so far.Perfect for any landline. These handset cords were purchased to replace some that were going bad in the office. They stretch out to around 12ft and contract back to 3ft, it's a good size for use in a medium sized cubicle or desk. The connectors clicked and locked well and the cord itself has held up so far and has kept it's elasticity. They are also available in black in addition to beige to help you match with your phone terminal. I would recommend these to others looking for a reasonably priced replacement cable.Just what I was looking for!Works like a charmItem works well so far. The product is advertised as "heavy duty," but I can't determine if it is, or not - it is about the same weight and function as previous cords that I have used. As with many products, time will tell how rugged and long-lasting this item is.I was getting ready to purchase a new phone due to excessive static on my current one. Fortunately I tried a new phone cord in case the existing one had a poor connection. That was the problem and this one works great. Good purchase!Yes this pkg. of 2 telephone cords for my landline phone were just what I was looking for to use on my desk phone. I have a cat that chewed the old cord and the phone is a good Panasonic that also has 2 cordless phones with it. I was trying to figure out why I was getting such bad reception on the phone lately, when all of a sudden I noticed these tiny little holes in the cord with some of the wires sticking out. That was the obvious reason for the problem. The cords arrived on time and in good condition, and now the reception on the desk phone is perfect. I am trying to keep the cat off the desk, but I now have a replacement for the new cord, and if it happens again, I now know where I can get more cords. It was a wonderful price for the cords as well. Thank you for your service.Sincerely,C.D.I tried to get a more length with a longer cord. I heard lots of static. After testing on different phones I learned I own a new, defective Amazon handset cable. I turfed it out of frustration. Who needs to waste time on sub-par dollar store quality?Loose connection at plug in point, communication was cut off until phone jack connection to phone handset was "jiggled". I removed it and replaced with original cord which works 100% with proper tight fit. My phone: Nortel Vista 350. Delivery was prompt. As shown. Works great. Received ahead of time. Only complain the tracking information was bogus. Two weeks after receiving item, tracking still indicated it is on the way.Nice cord but only 12 feet if you were to stretch it to the almost breaking point. A bit disappointed since our old cord was actually 12 feet without yanking it to death,
