Okay so this isn't a premium gamer nor audiophile product, but it does the job well at a reasonable price. I tried it out and it's fine for videoconferencing, gaming and run-of-the-mill pop music. My 12-year-old son was delighted to accept it as a replacement for the headset he broke. Has stood up to a couple of months of 12-year-old budget gamer abuse. Open backed cans, so son can hear me yelling up the stairs at him even when he's playing. The mic can best be described as average and it takes a few tweaks to be heard, but at this price who cares?
