Out of half a dozen different 3.5mm cables I tested, including a number of ones advertising extra-compact right-angle plugs, this was the one and only one I found that is able to fit into the extremely deep-set and narrow 3.5mm auxiliary audio jack on the Valve Index VR headset without interfering with the face gasket. I've been using it for almost 2 years now, and it's held up to the abuse well.Exact product used since the reviews are all mixed together for different versions of this device -- I have the "20cm [Dual Headphone]" model.Using the splitter to enable the TV to drive a wireless headset (to the docking station; Sennheiser) and another headset (Sony Origautio) to go wire to the sofa. I like the braid cable as it doesn't stick to things like the TV or other wires. The connectors seem well mage at the wire is attached well and they seem like they will plug/unplug over time without coming apart, though I've not yet time tested this aspect (newly out of the bag). The headphones teach soundly and securely and do not pop out, there is a click in the connection (good). I use it with a 15ft cable from the same company. The sound is good from both headsets and doesn't seem to be compromised.I needed it for combining the audio out from my TV and Smart Phone into my headphones, so I could play Xbox and listen to music at the same time at night without disturbing housemates while having insomnia attacks. Having all the right cables hooked up properly took some time to attach, so I carefully rolled them up together and made a loop with twisty ties while not being used. It worked decently twice, then after a few months in a plastic bin alone for storage, and finally used it again. One side didnt work. I tried switching cables, changing sides, checking sources, but the same damaged side produced no sound. Very weird. Too much time passed to get a refund, so I had to toss it. Maybe I just got a faulty one, as that happens sometimes, but it shouldn't have happened so fast, when it was well taken care of and put in safe storage without any junk near it to damage it.Purchased to connect my Steelseries headphones to the PC. While it worked somewhat, people complained about crosstalk with the sound to the headphone and the male connector were very tight to insert or remove from the computer. This splitter cable enables 2 devices, like stereo headphones, to receive the audio signal from a single headset jack output, like what used to be on every cell phone and most audio devices. It should be very useful in any situation where 2 people need to listen to the same stereo audio at the same time.Exactly what I was looking for, and works perfectly! Bought this to listen to movies and shows on my phone with my girlfriend while we cozy up, and my cell phone case (Lifeproof) makes that impossible for most headphones and splitters. Feels very durable and well-constructed, the connectors are heavy enough (combination metal and durable/heavy plastic) to feel nicely weighted without making it an inconvenience to keep in the pocket or backpack/carry-on, it bends very fluidly except where it shouldn't (at the connectors), and the super-soft braiding makes the tactile experience amazing. Great product! Wish I knew about it and bought it before our last trip! This adapter cable is exactly what I needed for recording audio using an external microphone while recording video with my iPhone. The separate headphone output works flawlessly as well.I was pleasantly surprised with the high-quality manufacturing. The inputs are tight and the look and feel of this item is first class.I've read a few other reviews on this prior to purchasing and it seems that anyone who had issues with this must've simply not fully understood what they were buying. I've been involved in audio and video production for many years and needed a simple way to separate the audio input from the audio output for use with a smartphone. In my case, I am using an iPhone. I imagine this would also work well with an android, but I haven't tested that. This is what I needed to connect 2 sets of headphones. It works, I have not really used it other than to test it.Coupler did take some sound quality away, but else well constructed.Does what it says. No signal loss. Solid build. No negatives.Didn’t work for what I needed it for- Build quality is excellent- Sound output is relatively goodNote: The sound does get cut in volume & clarity by about 15-20% when two headphones are connected. But this is mostly noticeable only if you're looking for it.I bought it to split a Bluetooth receiver while watching TV. It worked. Cheaper solution than a new transmitter for simultaneous viewing if your TV supports Bluetooth. My setup is like this! LG oled TV - fiio btr5 - cable creation splitter - sony wh-xb700 and mee audio pinnacle p1. The sound quality didn't detoriate a bit. It really worked. It was only for testing purposes. Obviously no one is happy with wires. So ultimately bought a new transmitter.
