I don't do many reviews, but since there aren't many products like this out for Quest 2 yet I thought a thorough critical review would be useful. My hands are a big on the big side, not overly large, but probably a bit beefier than most. This means I had to set the straps up on pretty much the largest possible configurations. This did effect my experience a bit as I did need to, very occasionally, reset the velcro straps because they started separating. So I would not recommend these if you have larger hands. (please see added content at bottom of review)Also, I did need to adjust these a number of times to get a functional grip, with the straps tight on my hand it tended to position my thumbs directly above the upper (Y/B) buttons whereas my normal grip tends to rest my thumbs above the lower (X/A) buttons. This definitely was too limiting with the functionality as it drastically changed how I could access the thumbsticks and occulus/settings buttons. After a bit of fussing and adjusting I was able to get a more functional grip, but I must admit that this adjustment compromises the firm fit on the straps and I need to refit the straps fairly often during gameplay.I do believe some of this fit problem has to do with my slightly larger hands. I plan on doing some testing with my friend's kids to see if these straps work better for their smaller hands. But I don't think the only problem is the size of my hands, I think the actual design of the Quest 2 controllers is causing much of the problem as well. I am unsure if hand straps will be completely comfortable and secure based on unintentional secure points 3rd parties are forced to use.The quality of materials of this product are completely acceptable if not overly impressive. Nothing feels cheap, but nothing has an overly weighty feel of premium quality. The leashes are better than the stock leashes imo, the thumbstick covers offer a little bit better grip on the end of your thumb but are not necessary. Overall, I think the product could support larger hands better, but the limitations of my experience I feel are more based on the design of the Quest 2 controller rather than knuckle strap product itself. All that being said, I do use them, I have already gotten used to not having to actively hold the controller in hand and prefer adjusting their leashes over the stock ones. I will most likely try out some future products that will be released in the future to (hopefully) improve on my experience, and this product will serve me until I find something better for me.edit: upon further review, I realized I had setup my hand straps in accordance with the instructions provided with the product, but I have realized that differs from how the product is shown on the Amazon product page. This discrepancy has to do with the rubber rings that go around the O's on the top of the controller. I changed my setup to reflect what is shown on this product page and it allowed for far larger hand sizes, but my other experiences have not really changed.I don't need to fix the straps as much during play, but I do still need to adjust them. I no longer need to refix the velcro occasionally, but it still seems to push my hands a bit higher (above the Y/B buttons, though not as much)So take into consideration that the stock provided setup video will lead to these straps not facilitating bigger hands, but adjusting the rubber ring attachment to the controller can allow for quite large hands.Based on this modified setup I'd feel comfortable giving this product a 4 (originally I gave it a 3), because they are quite usable, but I am still looking for a better product to come on the market. This product works okay for the price, but, as you can see from the photo, they only put full Velcro on one side and the other about a third. This made the parts to separate and kept getting caught on clothing and didn’t provide a secure fit. I already had to small black pieces cut from another project so used them to secure the straps to the end and this fixed the issue. I cannot figure out why they made them this way. I’d assume they have many returns for this issue. I just decided to try fixing the issue myself and it worked. Manufacturers need to fix this and make a much more useful product.I originally had purchased AMVR grips with elastic bands for my Quest 2 controllers, which I might add are great. However when I purchased the Anker Charging Station, i realized that grips blocked the charging contacts so they had to be removed at the end of each session. So I thought the Knuckle Straps would be be a good alternative. They leave the contacts clear so you can charge on the Anker and not have to take off the straps. For those who play a lot of games that require vigorous hand and arm movement, bands that go over your knuckles help in keeping from accidently throwing the controllers and damaging them or something else. While I thinks what this company created was technically a good idea, I unfortunately had problems with them. I have big hands, and even though the knuckle straps fit comfortably, the main issue I have is the straps are too rigid. I found the straps had very little give, and it was difficult to move my fingers to the correct buttons during game play because how restrictive the straps were. The AMVR grips uses elastic type bands, so it still hold on to my hands but also give me the flexibility I need to maneuver to the control buttons.I have tried the knuckle straps on my knuckles, in front of the knuckles and behind the knuckles and found them restrictive in any position. I can't help but thinking that if they used an elastic type band this would not be an issue for me.In spite of what I just said, I am not asking for a refund because I still think they are a great item, especially when used with the Anker charger, and maybe someone with smaller hands might not have the issues that I had. It has the extra added benefit of being affordable enough to take a chance on.They work well but the end slips out every now and then. They are nice and comfortable.I figured if the straps are for Quest 2 then i don't have to use the knuckle straps... the straps don't fit the Quest 2 hand controllers...but if you use the knuckle straps they will. It's functional but not what i wanted. that is why i gave it a 4 star. The wrist straps are exactly the style i had but specifically made for a quest 2 hand controller.... quality productI liked that this product had knuckle straps in addition to the wrist straps, which was a major selling point for me; however, the part of the knuckle strap that goes into the battery compartment broke within the first week of use.My kids wanted some straps for the controllers so I got these because the price was right. But I knew as soon as I put the end in that goes under the battery compartment that it wasn't going to stay in. It's so small so it pulls out after a short time of playing. Which is annoying because that battery compartment isnt fun to take off 5 times a day. They should have made that end piece at least double the size. I'll figure out a way to rig it so they can use it longer and so I won't be so annoyed, but eventually I'll upgrade to a better product.
