It’s super easy to set up. Just put on the tape and stick it on the wall. Press it for a while and leave it alone for a couple hours. I haven’t put on anything too heavy. Just a headset and my controller. So don’t put a whole brick on it.Original review: Install was easy and fast. Been on the wall for a few months and super sturdy.Update: We bought in November of 2019. It’s now July of 2020 and both of these no longer hold the controllers. The controllers keep falling off of them. We’re lucky to have carpet where these are located or we’d have been out the cost of this and the what $50 each it costs to replace the remotes. Wouldn’t buy these again. I’d recommend spending more for better durability over the long run.This product was exactly what I was looking for, it holds my controllers well without unnecessarily bending the cable on my wired controller. They look great on my wall and for the plastic holder itself holds my controllers just fine. I followed installation instructions but despite that the adhesive does fail every once in a while and drops my controllers right on top of my consoles which is bad for both the consoles and the controllers. I did not use the adhesive pads it came with, since I have slightly textured wallpaper I used 3M Command Strips, 2 size small on the back of each holder. Will add an update if they fall but I don't expect them too, as I use Command Strips for everything on my walls and have not had problems.
