I have both the Wired and Wireless versions of this headset. I use the Wired version with my phone and it works and sounds great. The Wireless version sounds amazing on my PC and is great on my Xbox and PlayStation.As for the Mic, this is where I ignored the reviews people wrote about these headsets. The Mic on both versions is clear and crisp. I have no clue where the complaints about the Mic sounding bad are coming from. As someone who has experienced audio issues on my devices, I can confidently say that the Mic issues are not related to the headset. The Mic issues are related to the device they are plugged into. A prime example of this for me is Discord. When I get windows updates, my audio settings sometimes change and cause distortion or my voice to sound robotic or laggy when attempting discord calls and changing headsets doesn't change a thing about this. The people on these calls can confirm this and are also victims of this. Reason why I always tell them to check their settings. Bad Mic quality can also be caused by the application you are using so check settings there too.PRO TIP: CHECK AUDIO SETTINGS ON YOUR DEVICE AND APPLICATIONS YOU MAY USE THE HEADSET WITH. You may improve the sound quality. I managed to bump the bass and treble doing so.If you have Discord on PC, use the Mic Test option in the settings under Voice & Video until you can get clear audio. Trust me, the device has a higher chance of being the problem than the headset.So before you bash any audio device with a negative review, check your audio settings. You will most certainly find sound quality improvement.
