When our pet rabbit chewed my headphone wires I use to practice guitar with, I could have: 1). Thrown them out and bought another pair; 2). Thrown the rabbit put and bought another pair, or 3). Get a little nutty in trying to repair my headset.At the time I considered the second option… that little guy’s already chewed a wicker basket AND one of my guitar cords… but went with the third option to attempt a repair.Cord was adequate for the job - not particularly thin, but not thicker either (…which I would have preferred…), so it worked well enough.Soldering was delicate, and I used a multimeter to make sure I wired the proper wire to the proper speaker (I guess a 9v battery can also be used?).My soldering was ugly, but the upside is repairing something I would have otherwise tossed. The experiment was definitely worth the cost and time spent doing it - and this product worked well for me.
