Let me start with "These are awesome!" I'm not even sure where to start with these as just about everything with these headphones is great. Well, here goes...First, the feel. The headphones overall are light, but they do have a feel of weight to the earcups, which is usually the sign of a good magnet used for the drivers. These are sported as 40mm and they are true, circumaural headphones. The earcup cushions are very soft, decent material for the design and the headband is very comfortable as well. There's plenty of give in the band for earcup separation without feeling as though the headband is being stretched.Second, button placement. This is usually a thing for me as I want to reach for the buttons and it feel natural...no odd positioning of my hand or having to twist my arm around to access a feature. Everything with the Ulacici headphones is in a good spot and represented between both earcups.Third...the sound of music. Here's where these shine to me. I like bass, but want to be able to clear hear my mid/upper tones and frequencies without them being drowned out. But if the song rumbles, I want to hear the rumble clearly, and distinguishable, and no clipping. THESE HEADPHONES DELIVER!! I have a few go-to songs I que up for testing, and this passed the test with flying colors. There are a few EQ settings which accentuate certain levels. In honesty, you can run these without EQ changes and without ANC, and they sound amazing. But setting the EQ on gives a boost where you want it pending the EQ setting, and the ANC makes the bass tones stronger. In truth, it all just sounds clean...very clean. And quiet...the outside world disappears, moreso when you turn on the Hybrid ANC.The one "eh" I would say is when I tested the vocal aspect for an online conference call. The response I received was that the headphone are very clear, but had a tin can type of sound to it...like a bit of higher frequency airiness. I didn't sound as though I was in a tunnel, I was audible and good volume, but the voice wasn't natural...though I could hear those clear as a bell on my side.5 stars....love'em!
