====================UPDATED REVIEW:After having used it for a few days, and having used other brands before, this thing is really nice. Excellent design, build quality, and performance. The boom is a gooseneck that's so fine" it doesn't even look like a gooseneck, and it flexes into just about any shape you could want and stays there til you reshape it. The mute button also allows me to send commands to my Android phone: short-press to answer or mute/unmute; long-press to tell the phone what to do/dial or to hang up a call. And when I had the issue I had (see below), customer service made a priority of trying to make me happy (for a better review, but still).Note:I originally had issues with it buzzing loudly, if the dial was set to max vol over even close to max, which is where it seems it needs to be for "normal" or "good" volume. I tried a few hours later and even on two phones and it persisted, so I put it back in the box. But I had purchased four and after a couple days of letting them all sit in the box it occurred to me to try the other three, which were fine. At that point, I tried that first one again that was giving me issues and it worked fine as well -- and has continued to work fine for the few days I've been using it.I'd previously used a different brand of similarly styled headset on those two phones for half a year and never once experienced any buzzing. Yet when I also previously tried a few other brands, some being major names, there was also a prohibitive buzzing out of box as well. And not because of my needing an adapter -- only happened at higher vol adjustment.I noticed at least one other review mentioned the same issue with buzzing with this item, so it seems to occur on occasion, and I have no idea what would make it happen or not happen -- let alone go away!====================ORIGINAL REVIEW (was originally at two stars):I must say I'm very disappointed. The build quality seems fine but I get a loud noise when the volume is set at or near max, which I need it set to to be at "normal" volume. I bought one of these months ago and had the same issue and couldn't use it. I hoped this issue was resolved but it's not. I've seen at least one other reviewer complain about the same thing. I don't understand all the glowing reviews without most others having this issue. Maybe it's worse on some phones. I have a BlackBerry Priv, which is a reasonably high-end Android phone running Android 6 (Marshmallow). I can't blame it on the phone, though, because I also bought a few other brands a few months ago and one of the others did this to lesser degree while one did not do it at all -- but for some reason I can't find that brand available anymore. This noise is FAR too loud for me to be able to use this device. (I tried the adapter that came with it and that sure wasn't the solution -- the noise when that was added was far worse.)====================
