I bought the Sony INZONE Buds after returning the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds due to software issues (was getting massive stutter in games and audio playback), and so far the Sony ones have been great. The standout feature is that the Sony software is entirely optional - it doesn’t need to run constantly for the buds to work properly, and it causes no issues when it’s active. Unlike the SteelSeries, you can control the volume seamlessly with the built-in volume controls or the Windows volume slider without needing proprietary software, which is a huge plus and how all gaming earbuds should be.Comfort and sound quality are excellent, though I’d say the sound isn’t quite as rich as the SteelSeries GameBuds. That said, the overall experience more than makes up for it. The charging case feels more premium, the wireless dongle works flawlessly, and I’ve experienced no noticeable latency in games. The battery life seems awesome and they just keep on going for ages without needing to be topped up in the charging case.I haven’t tested the ANC yet, but based on Sony’s track record, I’d imagine it’s excellent as well. It's worth noting as well that windows likes to default the audio to the chat profile which sounds naff so make sure it's set to the other one for the best sound.Overall, the INZONE Buds are reliable, easy to use, and well-designed. I couldn’t be happier with them - an easy 5-star product!
