First of all, they’re not real leather like the stock pads. That said, they are a hair stiffer and a bit thicker, which takes care of my problem with the stock pads in that they hurt my ears after about 30 mins of wear. These don’t have that problem. These are also a little bit smaller, which makes them a bitch to install. The color also matches the head padding better.
