Get the extra thick velour! You won't be disappointed. These new Geekria headphone pad replacements just arrived, and I installed/attached them to my Sony MDR-7506 Studio Headphones. It took 3 minutes and was much easier than the last replacements. Although the little tool they included is a nice addition, it was unnecessary. They were very easy to attach. At first, they looked too large, and I thought I ordered the wrong units, but they fit just fine and totally enhance the phones. I have not tested the sound yet, but they feel very comfortable and completely enclose my ears in the thickness of the soft velour. Now, these look and feel better than the OEM Sony unit. My Sony's are renewed...and better than before. Thank you Geekria!
