I work from home and have dogs/family around. It definitely does NOT block out the dogs barking in another room. I'm disappointed especially since my job recommended these. Now I have to buy yet another headset. This is my 3rd. Ugh. If you're not in a noisy environment, the sound is clear, mic works well, and they are comfortable.
