I had an old pair of Sony headphones that have served me well. The ear pads deteriated over time but the phones were still viable. I found these for my model and took a chance. They were perfect replacements and actually more comfortable than the originals. It takes a bit of effort to get them on by stretching the vinyl backing of the pads over the plastic rim on each earphone. A little patience will go along way when tackling this.
