This works perfectly on my older cordless phone. I work from home and needed a new headset. This fits the bill. The added bonus is that should I replace my current phone system, the dual headset jack will work with any cordless phone I get and I won't have to buy a new headset. Instead of a mute button, this has an on/off button. The cord is long so you can move around a little without it falling from desk. It has a replacement ear cushion and an adhesive hook if you want to hang it from wall when not in use. I can hear clearly, but I do have it at its highest setting for volume so I reduced by one star.
