These are exceptionally well made jack plugs with just one thing to really watch out for.Please make sure that you place the small plastic sleeve (found originally on the inside of the jack body) ON YOUR CABLE BEFORE SOLDERING!!Also when you have complete the soldering, slide the plastic sleeve down to it's original position so that that no metal parts of your cable extend beyond this plastic sleeve.Being almost all metal makes these jacks very durable and strong but liable to short circuit if any parts of the actual wire come into contact with the body.Well worth buying though with the quailty being excellent.Highly recommended.
