I'm deeply impressed by this product. I'm no audiophile, but do own multiple other nice headphones and office headsets.Construction quality seems great. Its all plastic (steel headband adjuster) but feels really solid. Matte finish. Considering the wireless connectivity and microphone and battery, they are impressively lightweight. The 2.4GHz usb-c dongle is critical here. I value low-latency video meetings so plain Bluetooth is not an option. (too much lag) But its also great to be able to take cell phone calls with them and also use for music-only via Bluetooth.Extremely comfortable. Like, wow. The ear cubs are exceptionally deep and large. I have large ears and fit easily within the cups such that all the clamping pressure is distributed on the skull/neck/jaw. Clamping force is medium. I have some lighter headsets, and some stronger ones. Riding a bike would be a stretch, but just sitting in the office I choose to stretch them out a bit to lessen the clamp.Audio is awesome. Bass heavy with sharp mids. They feel incredibly... spacious? Something about the physicality of the set makes the stereo separation beyond compare. It sounds really really good imo. And you can adjust with a THX or a third party app to make the EQ flatter if needed. External sound isolation is good too. I vastly preferred these for music compared to the Blackshark v2 X.Microphone is ok. Without adjustment I found the gain simply too high. But speaking softly, and turning the input level (on PC) down a bit, its pretty good. Very localized pickup. I also predominantly use these in MS Teams which has built-in noise suppression which I turn up to "High". In un-altered side by side comparison to the "Blackshark v2 X USB", the Blackshark is obviously lower and also clearer. Probably a better mic. But the Barracuda X will suffice for my workplace meetings and phone calls. (I have relatively high standards for this btw, 80% of headset mics are unacceptable imo) I somewhat miss having a rotating mic boom but having them detachable is the next best thing.Comes with all the cables you might need - all proprietary branded with integrated rubber straps. No carry case. They do not work with the Razer Synapse app (neither does the Blackshark X USB) which seems like a purposeful disabling for this "X" model. It does work with the Razer THX sound app but that has a $ cost and doesn't control the microphone. For the price I think its a surprising high performing product. From the packaging to the included cables to the audio, comfort, mic, and connectivity, it all speaks of quality. Well done Razer.
