I don't want to hear a "beep-boop" whenever I press mute / un-mute. The advantage of a proper physical mute button on a headset is you can mute/un-mute really often and quickly to contribute to a meeting when needed. But when at least half a second after pressing the button is taken up by "beep-boop" or "boop-beep" you just don't want to press it. Really disappointed as my years old Jabra headset doesn't do this, so I guess they think it's an enhancement! There's a big red LED, what more do you need?Volume buttons likewise make beeps in your ear as you operate them.And the microphone boom arm mechanism is really plastically - sliding the boom up makes a loud and grating mechanical noise, channelled right into your ear.Calling foam around the earpiece "noise cancellation" is a stretch, even if you add the word "passive". I knew it was just that but adding for completeness.
