These earbuds seem to be reasonably robust, with a set of fairly sturdy flat wires, leading from the controls and the battery module, to the earbuds. They also fit very nicely around my neck. And after I changed to the smallest sized earpieces, they fit very nicely into my ears as well.I was a little wary about the attempt of the "ergonomic" design shape, on the earpieces. Because in the past, those designs seem to sometimes hinder, rather than help. But these fit snugly and very comfortably, once I went tothe smallest size ear pieces. Also, the sound is a bit "rumbly", as is typically the case with these less expensive earbuds. This was especially noticable when listening to my audio books on Audible. So, it may be necessary to access your phone's equalizer, if your phone offers one. Because the "rumble" was easily corrected with the built in equalizers which my Mp3 players offer, and which most Mp3 players offer these days.Of course, time will tell, as far as how truly robust and resilient these earbuds may or may not be. But so far, if you want a nice set of backup, blue-tooth earbuds, especially for casual listening, I don't think you can possibly go wrong with these earbuds, especially for the price.
