I just received this about half an hour ago and immediately jumped into Blade and Sorcery with Virtual Desktop to try them out. At first, they sat weirdly on my ears, just a few centimeters too low in their default position, and the sound was a bit off. So I took them off and discovered that they can move up and down on their tracks (it takes a bit of force to do this and I was a bit worried about breaking them at first), so now they sit basically right on my ears where they should. Each headphone also clicks left and right a bit for further, precise positioning, which is a nice touch. The sound of the headphones seems good. The bass is perhaps a little too pronounced, making what should be a light shove to the chest sound like a disconcertingly loud smack, but perhaps that's always been like that and it's just amplified by the improved volume of my new headphones, so I simply never noticed it before with the quality of the Quest's inline earbuds. Time will tell, I guess. Not really a big deal, either way.Overall, these are great and I'm not taking them off again. Honestly, the Quest should have come with headphones as part of the package, just like the original Rift did, so this fixes that problem. They're a bit expensive, true, but the improved sound and comfort is worth it. I'm happy I received a Christmas gift card, as I'd been eyeing these for a while. Great purchase.
