If this really has a frequency range from 20Hz to 22kHz, it's a great deal in my opinion. The sound quality still isn't perfect because it's such a small microphone but I appreciate that it doesn't have sound recording limitations disguised as a low cut filter or something . All the other cheap or even more expensive "streaming" and "recording" mics have a small range like 50Hz to 15Khz and that limits me when I want to use my own settings in my recording apps. I get that they do that to remove low-end sounds like vibration or high pitched background noise to avoid problems with customers at the beginner level but I always feel like my voice sounds odd.I got a TRS(female) to TRRS(male) adapter and also tried it on my phone recording at 192kHz 24bit wav and it sounds decent.I happened to have a PATIKIL fuzzy windscreen and replaced the foam with the fur and it does an excellent job at getting rid of plosives.I already have a phone and audio interface that record at 192kHz 24 bit so I figured I didn't need to pay a whole lot for any USB mic that cost more that had a crappier frequency response and audio output (like 44khz 16 bit). You probably won't experience anything special if you buy this and use it with any devices that records at less than 96kHz 16 bit audio it sounds like a cheap webcam microphone. I'd recommend it if you just want something cheap to plug into a wireless lavalier transmitter that you already have or want a cheap mic for a laptop that has TRS input. (Or get a TRRS adapter if your device uses TRRS instead)Also remember that this is a mic only. It's not a headset.
