Just want to talk to your pillion while riding? This is it, folks. Pairing to smartphone? just like any other Bluetooth device you may own, 0 problem. Bluetooth Reconnection: immediate, no action required. Pairing between intercom? automatic, just follow the user manual procedure. Distance? I bought it to talk to my pillion not for group riding, but, while fueling gas, pillion went to the store for water... probably 100 to 150 ft away, direct line of sight, 0 problem. Audio quality, call/intercom? Clear. Audio quality, music? I'm not an audiophile, but tried Trash, Heavy Metal, Rock and pop. No distortion at full volume and in my opinion well balance low, medium and high tones (Didn't buy it for music pleasure and immersion). Loudness? Pretty sure we all have different hearing sensitivity, to me is too loud at full volume. Installation? Standard! you figure it out cable management. Cables are maleable, insulator is good, not too soft or stiff. Cable Length? is adequate for any helmet size and you are not left with inches of cable to hide. Overall quality? is plastic! doesn't feel cheap plastic; actually unit has a nice texture!, but sorry I'm not going to test drop resistance.Music Sharing? Yes, you can share music but intercom mode is off. You have to switch manually between operation modes. Not a problem is your music taste differ from your pillion!!!FM Radio!!! extra bonus, FM audio quality, nothing to add hereGroup Riding? two riders: Yes. three or more riders??: Nope. Each unit comes with two "channels". One channel is use for your smartphone connection, second channel is for unit to unit connection. If your aim is one to one communication and aceptable sound quality. this is a very good choice!
