I purchased the IPD IPH-160 Monaural NC Headset with USB Adapter Cable to PC, Mute Switch and Volume Control. Both the microphone and earpiece on this headset sound great. The over-the-head band is adjustable if it feels too tight you can easily reshape it to make it as loose, or as tight as you want. There is a quick disconnect on the cable, so the USB connector and inline control (with mute, volume & hangup) can stay connected to your computer. This makes it easy to disconnect the headset portion only. The headset is very comfortable and lightweight. I purchased a similar Sennheiser headset first, but I didn't like it. The Sennheiser limits the volume to the earpiece and the max volume was not loud enough. It also did not have a quick disconnect. This headset was less expensive and far superior in features and quality of sound. One note: I found that even though your volume may appear to be at maximum on your computer, the volume up control on the headset will increase the volume even louder. I made some test recordings using this headset. I could not be more pleased with the results.
